The topic of breastfeeding is greatly stigmatized in the United States. For something so natural and genuine between mother and child, a law had to be put in place to establish breastfeeding as a right of mothers and not an act of nudity. The objectification and sexualization of women is unacceptable and often lead to a mothers embarrassment and the under nourishment of her child.

Explain to me how the US pays 3 times more than the UK for life saving drugs? Explain how an ambulance ride to save your life is $12 in Germany but $3,000 or more here in America. These are just some of the injustices here in the US towards our health, which many can’t even afford.

Colorism is an issue that continues to threaten the Black Lives Matter movement and the Black community as a whole. We as a community of African-Americans and minorities need to realize that as we attack ourselves, we not only derail our movement for justice but also make our enemies stronger.

On February 14th, 2019 will commemorate the one year anniversary of the Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting in Parkland, Florida. This isn’t the first time something like this has occurred, and will continue unless the right thing is done; STRICTER guns laws.
