Why have you not seen many pictures of the Sikh protests lately? Similarly to other conflicts foreign to North America, the Sikh farmers' protests had their moment on our Instagram stories before being taken out of the spotlight. The Indian government's control dangerously limits the amount of media coverage this issue receives. However, the Sikh community continues to fight for their land and rights as this 10-month crisis progresses.
We are so very grateful to have had Arshpreet Rattan join this episode! As a Sikh, Arsh depicts how the Indian government is seizing control of its Sikh citizens and its impact on her family and community.
The farmers' protests never ended. Sikhs continue to fight for the land that has belonged to them for generations.
