Falling in love in teenage is so essential. You learn so much about different kinds of people and relationship challenges. You learn to adjust to keep up with a relation, you learn to give and embrace faults you otherwise detest. And then you learn to evolve break ups and learn to let go. It's just a normal process of growing up. The more you resist the more you bleed so let your children have their share of experience, you just stay observant that they don't get damaged during the process. Be a good listener and stay empathetic through their journey to adulthood.

If they are quiet and shutting down or avoiding discussions get alert. Girls are emotional and over thinkers. Most of the time they shut down and start overthinking when they face emotional setbacks. Be soft to them at these times, cheer them up, stand by them. Please do not judge their behavior but practice empathy. This is when they look for a safe space, a family that won't judge them through their standard belief systems.
