Chris Bledsoe 2026 Prediction: Real or Fake News?

UFO experiencer & author: Bledsoe is most widely known for sharing his personal account of an extraordinary event he says happened in January 2007 on the Cape Fear River in North Carolina. He claims that a UFO encounter there not only radically changed his life but also healed him of a chronic illness. 

Book: He wrote UFO of God: The Extraordinary True Story of Chris Bledsoe, a memoir-style book in which he describes his experiences with mysterious aerial phenomena, “luminous orbs,” and beings he interpreted as both extraterrestrial and deeply spiritual. 

In January 2007, Bledsoe says he was on a fishing trip with his son and business associates near the Cape Fear River in North Carolina. At the time, he reports he was under intense personal stress — financial problems, legal issues, and chronic illness.

His chronic illness was suddenly healed. He also began experiencing recurring sightings of luminous orbs around his home. He later detailed the events in his book, UFO of God, where he frames the encounter not simply as extraterrestrial contact, but as something deeply spiritual — possibly tied to consciousness or divine intelligence.
