Temptations will come, but Jesus can help you overcome, since he’s already overcome Satan, temptation, even the sting of death with the power of his resurrection. We don’t have that kind of power, but Jesus does. Jesus has the power to help us overcome whatever temptation’s wrecking our lives, our marriages, our families, our relationships. But we have to rely on him in the moment of temptation. We have to rely on the scriptures and our relationship with him, instead of our own will power which has proven to continually fail us.
