Dennis and Bethany are content creators whose combined skillsets are put to use in an array of various avenues including short films, live-streams and YouTube videos.

Dennis Cahlo is a writer, film director, film editor, musician, twitch streamer and youtuber. Bethany Watson is a writer, actor, streamer, former radio personality and a host of the An Acquired Taste Podcast. Together, they have created two genre short films which include LONELY HEARTS (2019) and DOORS (2022) which is currently running the festival circuit.

Mitch, Dennis and Bethany discuss all of these topics before leaning in to a discussion about THE CITY OF THE DEAD (Horror Hotel) from 1960. They also share some of their yearly Halloween rituals and what they have planned for this spooky season.

Chet is a world renowned fine artist specializing in Dark Art. He began his career working on films ranging from cult classics like THE BLOB (1988), DARKMAN (1990) and HOCUS POCUS (1993) eventually moving on to massive studio films like THE RING (2004),  HELLBOY 1 & 2, PLANET OF THE APES (2001), and so many more. He eventually left the film industry to focus on fine art painting, which has resulted in multiple iconic pieces of dark art and acclaim from genre royalty like Clive Barker and Guillermo Del Toro. His latest piece of work is a brilliant book titled, DY5TOPIA: A FIELD GUIDE TO THE DARK UNIVERSE OF CHET ZAR. All of this and more is discussed on this episode.
