Bye bye CFB (what an epic ass whipping by UGA), hello NFL playoffs and a college hoops season that is heating up and as even as I can remember. We've had a meltdown in golf already too. So much to cover we give you enough to drive an hour and fifteen with rock solid entertainment...

Happy New Year from TFS! A lot of ground to cover from shock and sadness of the Damar Hamlin collapse to some amazing bowls, crappy officiating, fire college hoops, an electric NFL finish, and the start of the PGA season. Buckle up. We're crossed from 2020 to 21 to 22 and now 23.

Happy New Year from the TFS Pod! As we're in a CBB lull and in the dregs of the two too many dozen bowl games, we take a look back at 2022. What a crazy year it was, maddening in both good ways and bad. We do review our CFP picks and talk stretch run of the NFL but as is so typical for this time of year, it was a good time to look back before we look ahead...

Entering a bit of the slow before silly (bowl) season. But still some people to take to task for stupidity (Biden, Griner, Beard, M hockey, et al), half the bowls to pick, college basketball to bask in, plenty of Christmas fun, and a fair amount of NFL chat what with the Lions not playing SOL ball in December (yet)...

TFS Pod 101 in the books and we take some to school this go around. Little WTF to the NCAA, big WTF to michigan and their "leaders and best" charade. Championship week look back. Big Ten football season look back. Lamenting the Spartans and what looks to be a very bleak hope for NCAA tourney number 25 in a row. All in all a lot of ground covered including some well deserved kudos for the Lions and yes, even Aidan.

A lot to be thankful for this feast week, being a frost bitten, angry Michigan State football fan ain't one! But we are thankful for Spartans hoops, a crazy weekend in college football, the best sport on earth - college hoops - hitting its stride and much more. Including a rare three game win streak by the Lions! Happy Thanksgiving. Gobble gobble.
