We've passed the sports equinox and entered CBB season! Things are as fixed and strange as ever in the world of sports. ESPN/Disney is stiffing its fans. Our teams are on the struggle bus. It's not a great time to be a sports fan to be honest, unless you're a Dodgers fan. The good news is Big Ten hoops previews start on the pod this week!

Is it just us or is it getting tiring being a sport fan? Scandals, horrid officiating, at the mercy of the TV people, not to mention barely showing up against a rival. It's all... just... exhausting. The good news is? CBB start SOON!

Another epic week around college football, and sports at large. Ohtani oh my. Upsets all over the place. Indiana and Vandy are CFB royalty. The Lions survived a hose job on MNF. It's rivalry week and yet I'm as despondent as ever about the big game. Enough chit chat, let's get to it. We break down the week that was and will be and CBB/B1G previews are on the horizon...

It was an agonizing week to be a state of Michigan sport fan. The A-word adjectives have set in for Andy while Ryan rants about the state of State. So much going on around the NFL, CFB, and beyond. Stop reading... just listen!

We've got Lions and Tigers and Spartans... oh my. Good on the Lions. Good on the Tigers. But about those Spartans? Eesh. Lots of takes on the Jonathan Smith experiment in EL - mostly bad. Tons going on in the Big Ten and CFB at large so without further ado, pull up a chair, grab a brew and stew with us.

The Tigers are off the rails and on the brink. The Ryder Cup was a disaster. CFB saw 3-4-5 lose, two at home. No MSU to pick apart but the Lions stayed the course. It was an interesting week in sports and we're here to break it all down...

What a week for sports... we're coming off an epic Lions win. A game but not good enough performance by the Spartans. An epic, historic collapse by the Tigers. One of the best weekend's you'll see coming up -- with marquee CFB and NFL matchups all over the tune PLUS the Ryder Cup. We go long this week because your co-hosts were in their bag...

Fun fact... the CFB season is a quarter gone already. Let that sink in! Baseball races are in their final two weeks. Can the Tigers clinch the Central for the first time in a loooong time? Michigan State and the Lions acquitted themselves nicely. There was some fun around CFB and the NFL. Give us an hour and we'll get you in the know...

On a somber day, the show goes on. NFL kicked off and we run through that. Should Lions fans panic? MSU had an epic and program direction setting 2OT win. We cover the night at Spartan Stadium plus the Big Ten blowouts and bruises. Always love the mailbag too. An hour of sports listening bliss...

College football is in full swing, the NFL kicks it this week, baseball races are heating up, golf isn't done, hockey is near... man it's a great time to be a sports fan. Catch the usual podium takes, find out who we flag, walk through the week one that was and look ahead to week two PLUS get a Lions season preview all in one TFS pod...
