The Thing You Can't Say From Stage

In May of 2023, a month after my mom passed, I stood on a friend's stage and said something out loud that you're not supposed to say. I want to spend as much time as I possibly can on a golf course, and as much time as I can with my wife.

I had no idea what I was setting in motion.

A year later I retired from 38 seasons of basketball coaching. A year after that, I was handed the golf program at my alma mater. From August through October 3rd, there wasn't a day I wasn't on a course. Life just kind of filled in the details.
