Further examination of the Parable of the Muddy Road continued from earlier episode

Today's episode is a brief exploration of the old Zen Koan sometimes known as "A Muddy Road". It's about letting things go. 

We recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize our 21 year old cat, Miss Kitty. Today's episode is her eulogy. Please have your pets spayed and neutered, and adopt unwanted animals rather than buying designer pets from mills or pet stores. 

In 1983 I spent a couple of days on vacation courtesy of Morehouse Parish Louisiana. A brief discussion of what I learned there. 

For 224 years America has held Presidential elections and, until now, there has never even been a question as to whether the loser of an election would accept defeat and walk away for the good of the country. Donald Trump is threatening that. 

Right Wing "militias" (really gangs of thugs), seem to have become emboldened by the racist, misogynist rants of the lunatic currently infesting the White House. Recent events have clearly demonstrated their willingness to use violence and their utter disregard for anyone who disagrees with their rigid, narrow and exclusive views of what freedom and liberty mean.
