You never know who you’re going to meet at a gas station after an afternoon of hunting. I had the pleasure of meeting Tony Woodard one night after hunting, and in the first minute, knew he had to be on our show. Tony is what I consider to be a true outdoorsman. From catching hogs by hand, killing huge whitetails and catching slabs of crappie. Tony lives the outdoor life. This episode we get a lot of great lessons from this master of the woods. Sometimes it seems like all the guys on the internet, and TV make it look too easy when shooting a huge deer, it almost seems staged. Tanner Edenfield and his YouTube channel, “Have Bow, Will Travel” (which is certainly a fitting name) has grown to over 19,000 subscribers, with videos that have over 500k views. The thing that makes Tanner’s videos so popular is because they are 100% real. You can’t help but be inspired by Tanner’s work ethic and his relentless pursuit of his next trophy. Join Mike and Kaleb as they sit down with Tanner to talk about how he grew his channel, and how he takes down monster trophies year after, year. 

One of the biggest mysteries in the outdoors for some for us as hunters are the vocalizations of the animals we hunt. Whitetails are definitely a big part of this category. On this episode, we talk to John Peterson, the founder of Piedmont Game Calls. John is a very talented Whitetail Deer Hunter and an amazing craftsman. I have heard many calls on the major market, but none-compare to these amazing handcrafted game calls that John produces. Hunting in the south, we are accustom to seeing whitetails behave a certain way hunting them in the south. We’ve often wondered how extreme the differences are in other states, especially in the northern states like Michigan. Today show, we talked to Mike Love and Kody Docket from Proven Ground (PG103).
