The Thoughtful Spot episodes

  • Encore - Faith and Friendship

Welcome to The Thoughtful Spot: the podcast for women, wherever they are on their Christian journey, who are thoughtfully seeking God’s transforming power, who are striving to live as Christ wants them to everyday, and who want other Christian women to walk with them through life.  I’m your host Terri Hester.

I posted the first full episode of this podcast on October 6, 2020,  and I'd like to celebrate one year of podcasting by sharing that first episode again.

Our friendships really matter--they matter in our daily life, in our good times and bad times, and in our journey of faith.  In episode 1, I talked about the importance of building friendships with other Christian women.  Today, on episode 36, I hope you enjoy hearing it again or for the first time.

    Scriptures from this episode:

    • 1 Thessalonians 5:11
    • Galatians 6:2
    • Romans 12:10
    • Proverbs 27:9

Quote by Charles Finney. “Nothing tends more to cement the hearts of Christians than praying together. Never do they love one another so well as when they witness the outpouring of each other's hearts in prayer.”
