Monika Preischl has worked for many years as an archive producer for documentary and fictional film productions worldwide. In 2019, she was honoured with the Focal Award for her work on "Kulenkampffs Schuhe" and in 2023 for "Gladbeck". She is chairwoman of the newly founded professional association "GRAP", which represents the interests of archive researchers and archive producers vis-à-vis broadcasters and producers. She is working on the documentary „Riefenstahl“ since 2018.
Amanda Huntley is Managing Director of Huntley Film Archives for nearly forty years with a huge passion for celluloid and documentary history on film. Working with all production, broadcast, museums, commercial and educational she aims for excellence, historical truth and creativity in how archive film is used. In addition to her Huntley work, Amanda is on the executive board of Focal International – the trade association to the world’s archives, Mace – a public regional archive for central England. This gives her a unique outlook into the world of both commercial and public film archives. Ensuring film archiving skills for the next generation is her current goal, training the next generation of film archivists and Huntley Film Archives practises this by a regular internship programme and workshops.
Marc Lepetit, a film production trailblazer, graduated from the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 1993, launching his career in Cologne and Düsseldorf. Armed with a Producing degree, he joined Berlin's Phoenix Film in 2003, overseeing projects like 'Kill Your Darling' and 'Teufelskicker'
From 2013 to 2021, Marc played a key role at UFA Fiction, overseeing diverse fictional productions and spearheading digital communication initiatives. Under his guidance, the transformation of ZDF's hit television show 'Ku’damm 56' into a musical at the Theater des Westens in 2021 stands as a testament to his visionary approach. Marc's ability to connect creative minds and weave diverse talents together was instrumental in the successful musical adaptation of 'Ku’damm 56'. In April 2021, Marc co-founded UFA Documentary GmbH, under the UFA umbrella, focusing on non-fictional productions. Projects include RTL series 'Angela Merkel – Frau Bundeskanzlerin' and 'Sturmfahrt' a narrative about Boris Herrmann. Highlights included the four-part series 'Liebe ist alles' exploring the story of the Berlin based pop band Rosenstolz.
Marc Lepetit's commitment to education is evident through guest lectures since 2006, specializing in transmedial storytelling. His journey is a testament to dedication in pushing storytelling boundaries, transforming narratives through innovation, and leaving an indelible mark on film production.
The host Elizabeth Klinck is an archive producer and music clearance specialist on international documentaries and fiction films that have garnered Emmy, BAFTA, CSA, Peabody, and Oscar awards.
