As it is a new year and a brand new season for the podcast, we decided to tackle a different kind of theme this time round. If you've checked out our Instagram, you would've seen that we are now going to talk more about Films & TV shows or just anything in general about the entertainment industry for this season. So, to start this season off, we'll be reminiscing our favourite films and tv shows from 2021 and give you our suggestions on what we feel you should check out if you've missed out on it.
When COVID hit the world by storm, cinemas had no choice but to shut down, and what a sad day it was for the film industry and us, the viewers. Many anticipated movies had to be delayed and we the audience, had to wait longer for the movies to be released. All hope seems lost, right?ย
Well, ring in streaming platforms such as the infamous Netflix, Disney+, HBOGo/Max, AppleTV/+ to save our dull stay-at-home days. There were so many exclusives and a huge catalog of films for us to watch and for a moment, the cinemas seemed forgotten. As theatres are finally reopening, and especially with COVID still up and about, will it be worth the ticket purchase? Will watching in the comfort of our own homes be enough?ย
For our final episode for Season 1 of The Three Lattes Podcast, we'll be discussing the topic of "are streaming platforms are the endgame of cinemas?" Tune in to find out!
