We're talking about eastern horror and their western remakes this week with a comparison between Japan's RINGU (1998) and its US counterpart THE RING (2002). We start with a brief summary of both plots (03:16) before going over a few differences character-by-character (05:29). Of course, we give a special spotlight to the "creepy girl in a well" character(17:53) and what turned out to be the biggest difference between the two films (25:33). And as is tradition, find out our $5 opinion on both films (36:28) before we go over a few loose thoughts to close out the 'sode. Just a PSA: don't watch unlabelled video tapes... they're never good and it's not always because an evil demon girl is going to spook you to death.
