This week I am talking about how to overcome impostor syndrome - that's the feeling that you don't deserve your achievements or that other people might think or find out you're a fraud! Or at least not as good/successful/accomplished as they think you are...
Having experienced impostor syndrome myself for years, and as a coach who has worked with women and men on how to overcome it, I talk from first hand knowledge about how to identify impostor syndrome and what to do about it.
You can overcome this, but it only starts once you choose to do things a little bit differently. It is achievable, and this episode teaches you how. Listen and learn to thrive!

Join me for this episode discussing how to raise the profile of discussions about race at work. Targeted at leaders and managers responsible for creating an inclusive environment, this episode provides tools to help you plan for effective discussions whilst creating a safe environment for all to contribute.
I share my own experience of dealing with corporate clients that have struggled to manage this issue effectively, as well as a recent personal experience of dealing with white fragility, in the hope that these insights will help you feel more prepared.

This week I am talking about building resilience. In the UK we are entering another national lockdown, and lots of us are feeling the strain on our physical and mental wellbeing.
How do we build our resilience so that we can continue to thrive and enjoy our lives even in times of stress?
Sometimes at work we are told to be 'more resilient' - in a work context that can mean do more, be more productive, bulldoze on through the stress and make less fuss, make less noise, be more consistent. That is not resilience, and focusing on doing more, being more productive in this scenario will have the opposite effect.
Learn tips to help you be more resilient both at work and in your personal life by listening to this episode.

From before the conversation - how to plan for it and how to get yourself into the right mindset; to having the conversation - how to do it effectively; to after the conversation - how to reflect on what happened and take action.
I then go on to talking about handling a very specific type of difficult conversation - challenging biased or discriminatory comments, based on an experience I had myself during the week leading up to this podcast recording.

In this episode we are talking about asking for - and getting (!) what you want. Sometimes we know what we want but it's incredibly hard for us to ask for it openly, honestly and positively. Instead we walk around frustrated and expect our bosses, colleagues and significant others to be mind readers! Other times we can't quite identify what it is that we want we just know it's not THIS!
I explain how to identify what it is that you really desire and then to ask for it in a way that is going to get you the result YOU want!
