The holidays caused me to go into a dark spiral. I fell off the wagon when it comes to my diet. I started ordering unhealthy food via DoorDash every day, and now I'm trying to cleanse myself of this habit. To accomplish this, I'm currently doing a 72 hour fast. It's very hard not to fantasize about destroying myself with food. I have a terribly strong craving for salted bagels.

I'm feeling a bit winded this week, but that didn't stop me from yelling on this episode. I've been quarantining (mostly) while sick with Omicron, but that actually made me feel better compared to my baseline symptoms of depression. So it was a nice distraction, and gave me something else to focus on. Matt Perez also tested positive in the last week, and joined me again to follow up!

I catch up with Matt Perez who I met in Chicago when I ran a thing. We are both currently going through the same sort of trip, so I thought it'd be fun have him on to help each other get through it. We share a lot of opinions that would be considered controversial, if anyone were to actually listen to this.

Lots of inner rage is burnt off on this episode. I am finally a licensed driver in Texas, so I've inherited the driving style of other Texans. The comedy scene here is rather bad, but I'm becoming determined to gain clout. I got booked for my first show in Austin, and I started teaching English to a woman who lives in a different country.

This episode is absolutely filthy. I'm not proud of it. I mostly brag about being well off (again), trying to get laid on Snapchat, and driving 100 miles to do something with a stranger, only to turn around at the last minute out of fear for having to be naked around another dude.

On this episode I talk about almost falling for an obvious dating scam. I almost drove to a strange woman's house in the middle of the night but flaked out after she asked for "collateral." In brighter news, I made it all the way through No Nut November without succumbing to the quick dopamine release of being a coomer.

This past week I have been going hard on the dating apps. So far nothing has come of it. But I'm learning it's important not to chase after the wrong person. You have to know your own value before just giving away. Also talked about buying a second car, and what it's like to run an open mic.
