Good courage is the determination to bring God glory, no matter how big the enemy or how great the adversity. Notice God says: “Be” of good courage, not have courage! “Be” means that God is commanding us to walk in His identity, to live in His authority, proceed with His kingly nature. That’s why God called good courage a “different spirit.” Hear God speak: “I AM the up that makes good courage. I AM how you stay focused. I AM how you maintain momentum and keep your commitment on a moment-by-moment basis. I AM your action plan no matter the challenge or the obstacle. My character is your courage to face pain with faith and dignity. I AM always up and forward. So, go, grow, and show yourselves approved and sent by Me.
