A recent survey from “Point of Sale” company Lightspeed, has found a whopping 77 percent of Canadians are fed up with auto-tipping prompts on payment machines. Is tipping out of control and how have attitudes towards tipping changed in recent years? We discuss with Bruce McAdams, Associate Professor, School of Hospitality, Food, and Tourism Management at the University of Guelph.
