Mark Carr , PhD, serves as the regional director of ethics at Providence Health in Anchorage, Alaska. He holds a doctorate in philosophy and ethics as well as a master's degree in divinity/ministry.

Randy Roberts, DMin, serves as the lead pastor at the Loma Linda University Church in Southern California.

"Pastor Randy" was born in South America of missionary parents, and spent the majority of his life before college in Latin American countries.

Randy received his undergraduate degree from Southwestern Adventist University, and his MDiv from the SDA Theological Seminary at Andrews University. He also has an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from the US International University in San Diego, California (and is a licensed marriage and family therapist), as well as a DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

His career includes pastoring in Texas for more than five years before moving to Loma Linda. In 1987 he began work as a chaplain at Loma Linda University Medical Center. During the next several years he was also instrumental in establishing and leading the Medical Center's grief recovery program.

Dr. Roberts has spoken to many and varied audiences both nationally and internationally; has written articles for various publications; and has authored one book for Pacific Press, entitled, The End is Near (Again).

Tad Worku, RN, inspires his patients and those around him through music. Few artists find a voice that rises above the clutter of life and paves its path directly into the heart.

After graduating from college with a degree in Business Marketing, Tad spent four years perfecting his unique blend of musical styles and smooth and sultry tones, gaining fans and playing in celebrated venues. Then, in 2012, on the verge of taking the next step in his career as a musician, Tad wrote a song that encapsulated the struggle that had been going on within him over his life's direction–whether to continue on the path toward success as a musician or to seek a way to make a difference in the lives of people in need. He had been offered a touring grant for his band, a grant that contained a clause requiring him to agree not to touch on the great human themes of religion or politics in his songs. Tad decided to take to heart the lyrics he'd written in his song, "Me": "If I gain the world what I lose is me."
