Taylor Lorenz is a New York Times writer covering tech culture and online creators. She was a Knight Visiting Nieman Fellow at Harvard University where she focused on Instagram and news consumption. And she's appeared on just about every big show talking about internet culture.

I started reading Taylor's coverage of the creator world four years ago when she was at The Atlantic. That's when I writing about influencers for Forbes. At the time, she was the only other person that I saw focusing exclusively on creators.

Now, every major platform has devoted reporters (or sometimes, entire departments) covering the space. But Taylor was there in the beginning.

We talked about the creator economy, TikTok entrepreneurs, how the business has changed and what she thinks the future for creators will look like.

She's on leave from the New York Times and is currently writing a book about creators. I can't wait to read it!

After the YouTube interview, we hopped over to Spotify Greenroom to do a Q and A session. I love that platform!

24kGoldn first came on my radar with "Valetino" and I really dug his style. Hip hop with some R & B and pop thrown in. It was a great blend. Of course he blew up after "Mood" and the rest is history.  We talked about what it's like to try to follow up that massive success. 

We talked about hip hop in general: His influences, where he's headed musically, even how Tyler The Creator has been a great blueprint for him.  

But we went beyond the normal hip hop interview. We got a chance to stretch out and hear about his charity work, which really blew me away. 

The fact that a rich, successful 20 year old is focused on uplifting the less fortunate is pretty rare. He's doing some great things.  And as we always do, we talked business. He's involved in startups, crypto, and more!   

I had a blast interviewing John Vitti, founder of the Versus app.

I'll be honest, I never heard of the Versus app. But I'm glad I did! Versus is an app where creators can  post polls and users can vote for free on them or bet up to $100 on them. It's so fun to use!   Side note: Women do better than men on there, so ladies get on there and make some money!  Make sure you download the app and follow me on there:)

Erika is the best! This interview is definitely one of my faves. She has come a long way since her Team 10 days! She just launched her new brand Akire Sport and also has several other business going at the same time. It was really interesting, and inspiring, to hear her talk about her entrepreneurial journey.

This was pretty cool. We did the first half of the interview live on Spotify Greenroom. We asked fan questions at the end. It was really fun!
