Welcome to the Tome, Dragons of Faerun.

The Tome Summer 2007 Contest is over. And the winners are announced in this episode.

I then proceed to review Dragons of Faerun.

Dragons of Faerun has a series of great Web Enhancements on the WotC site. You can find them at: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/fracc/953797200

Also, don't forget that the Tome is a member of Goblin, the Gaming Broadcast Network (gbncom.com). So if you are looking to find more great gaming podcasts check out Goblin!

In this episode I take a look at Dragon 258 and William Pall brings us another fabulous review of Dungeon, this time bringing us 149.

The Tome Summer 2007 Contest is coming to an end soon, so get your submissions in soon (http://www.thetomeshow.com/Contest.html).

Contest Sponsors include: Swords Edge Publishing (http://www.swordsedgepublishing.ca), Geeklabel (http://www.geeklabel.com), Mayhem Comics (http://www.mayhemcomics.com) and Green Ronin (http://www.greenronin.com).

I am planning a Tome format change to be announced with episode 25. I would love your feedback on how that format change should look. Check out the forum thread and let me know what you think (http://www.fistfullofcomics.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=index&c=10).

I made a recent appearance on the Murder at Avedon Hill podcast novel, which I played a promo for last episode, see links in the show notes from then.

I have completed interviews with several industry insiders and have some more planned (thanks to our sister podcast Fist Full of Comics and Games, http://www.fistfullofcomics.com). So look forward to hearing those coming up soon. They include Eytan Bernstein, Wolfgang Baur, and James Jacobs.

Billibub Baddings and the Case of the Singing Sword is a podcast novel by Tee Morris of a dwarf from a high fantasy world stuck in the 1920s/30s Chicago who has become a private investigator. I just finished listening to this story and thought you guys might want to know about it. It can be found at http://www.teemorris.com.

The annual Ennie award nominees have been announced, and Gamers Haven recently did a super-episode to familiarize you with who the winners might be. Plus they are running a contest. There is only a short amount of time to vote for the Ennies and get submitted into their contest. Check them out at: http://www.canadiancrusaders.com.

I am hoping to get the next episode out before a week is up because pretty soon I go back to school and I don't know what my free time will look like then.

Also I announce that there is a really cool Summer Contest for the Tome. Hundreds of dollars in gaming prizes are available. There will be more information on the new website (http://www.thetomeshow.com) soon.

And of course, there is a review. It's an older book this time brought to you from Nuketown Radio Active, which I give the wrong name over and over and over again in the show...sorry. Check them out at http://www.nuketown.com.

In this episode I interview author J.C. Hutchins about his 7th Son podiobooks and we keep the conversation focused on gaming and D&D specifically. This was a blast and I hope you enjoy it. There will be another episode coming out shortly with some really cool information about some things happening with the Tome.

Email the Tome at [email protected] or visit the website at www.thetomeshow.com.
