Picture this. A 30 something man in the prime of his life, living in the sunshine, flying high in his career, loving life, working with Dubai’s biggest promoters flying in A list Djs from across the globe… oh, and then playing alongside them in what was during its time one of the best venues in the world, Trilogy Dubai, where he was also a resident DJ.
In 2012, totally out of the blue, Christian was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer. Multiple Myeloma; this was the start of a life changing journey for Christian, his wife, daughter, and family here in the UK.
Fight. Faith. Belief. Courage. Just a handful of words that come into Christian’s story.
Christian is the founder of CB Transformation coaching, helping people from all over the world eliminate whatever is holding them back from creating the life and results they want, particularly during periods of major personal and professional transition. As well as his training and certifications in Coaching, RTT and clinical hypnotherapy, Christian brings a tremendous amount of life experience to his work.

That is, if you want to keep the health of your body & mind. And let's face it, things change, with careers, family, oh... and your body! It's called age, and there is no reversing it.

Adrenaline... our bodies natural rocket fuel! An essential hormone, and one that this week's guest on #thetoniceffect relied upon on the pitch playing #Superleague for the likes of #WarringtonWolves and #BradfordBulls, and in Iraq during the conflict as a #CloseProtectionOfficer (CPO) for army personnel and bomb disposal teams.

"the tonic effect - adding the vital ingredient to your life"
My first the tonic effect podcast, talks to... me. In this episode, I give you an insight into my life over the past 20 years, the up's, and the down's, especially through 2 incredibly challenging years in my thirties where I literally saw all my career successes drain away, due to no fault of my own.
During this time, had it not been for self care through physical and mental exercise, and mindful behaviours like eating the right food, gratitude and self belief, I'd be a very different man, and in a different place. I was lucky to have an incredible family support unit around me, albeit 3,500 miles away, but closer to me (in Dubai) a few friends who I could confide in, and of course my meditation family.
I'm ruthlessly passionate about body & mind health, and have spent 15+ years in high pressure industries, including radio, events, and advertising / marketing. But using ‘the tonic effect’ mindset, I feel compelled to use my experiences to enrich others and ensure they are doing all they can to fulfill a happy and healthy life.
I've integrated physical and mental exercise into my life (as a habit) for over a decade, and without those, would be a very different man both physically and mentally. In 2020 (the year of Covid!) I took the steps necessary to gain a professional Level 3 qualification as a registered Personal Trainer (CIMPSA), in order to legally practice what I preach, allowing me to quite simply, help others achieve their goals, and live their best life.
I have worked hard using the principles of Calisthenics for over 3 years, and use advanced bodyweight resistance methods combined with high intensity workouts to build raw strength and power. I also have a deep understanding of advanced weight based resistance and CV methods to cater for the gym goers.
We're all different, unique, and often just need a helping hand to navigate through this life. It's good to talk, drop me a message, let's connect: [email protected]
