Tony and Dakota interview millionaire luxury home builder Silas Norris of MBN Properties. Silas is one of the four owners of MBN Properties. Silas talks about how he got started in real estate investing. Silas talked about going in on a house with his family with cash he had saved. Silas talked about the hay day of flipping houses just after the 2008 crash. He said he used to buy houses from the sheriff sales, tax sales, and REOs from the banks. We talked about his company’s transition into home building, what it’s like to work with family, and relationships. We also talked about the struggles and successes of home building and event spaces. Tony and Dakota have Aric Mussman and Joshua Mussman on their podcast to discuss how the Mussmans got started on the path toward entrepreneurship and financial freedom. Jake Carlile is a house flipper and real estate investor out of College Station Texas. Tony and Dakota know him through their Arete Mastermind (by Andy Friscella and Ed Mylett). When Jake set up his company he claimed the name "Arete Property Management".

 

Jake has done 12 flips so far and he is just now reaching the end of his first year of investing. We talk about how he got started, philosophy and psychology of investing and self improvement. In this podcast we interview our friend and real estate investing mentor Adam Gerig. Adam is a local investor in the Fort Wayne Indiana area.
