Recently, Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R) officially entered the race for North Carolina governor in 2024. Attorney General Josh Stein (D) already announced earlier this year. While others have and will enter, it’s largely expected these two well-known adversaries will face off in the fall of 2024.
It’s almost certainly going to be the most closely watched race in the country, and features perhaps two of the most different political philosophies we’ve ever seen in a gubernatorial race. Not to mention — it could get nasty. So, we are going to take an early look at the race, the candidates and how the presidential race could impact the outcome.
Democratic strategist, and Stein campaign consultant Morgan Jackson joins us. Also grabbing a mic will be Republican strategist Jonathan Felts, a former White House political director, and consultant for U.S. Senator Ted Budd.
