I got stuck behind a bus and decided it was a good time to complain about education and some of the classism involved in education. Probably lacking in details but I was on a tear.

Longer form of the fillings, but still unscripted rambling with no opportunity for fact-checking. Today's session is largely about my recent discovery of Jessie Gender and marginalized groups, specifically the trans community. Not a complete discussion, but it does a reasonable job I think.

This is a mental health check-in basically.

If I had to sum up how these shows are going to go, it'd probably be something like Uneducated Ramblings. We talk about politics and race relations and drug companies among other things. What I think is important about this to remember is we definitely mean well and we may say things incorrectly or are not forming complete thoughts, but we're not experts and what we want to is to better understand why things are so... messed up for so many people.

Just a mental health update. Mostly.

Tolkien Reading Day is held on the 25th of March each year. The date of the 25th of March was chosen as the date on which the Ring was destroyed, completing Frodo’s quest and vanquishing Sauron.

This is me discussing why I'm interested in free will. I intended it to be primarily Robert Sapolsky's book "Determined", but I had to wrap in Sam Harris' book "Free Will". This will be part of an ongoing review of - probably - both books. Hope you enjoy.
