In an age of compromise and conformity, courage must be the fire within to arise and stand in the truth—no matter the cost. In this newest episode of The Torch, Brian looks to the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, as he chose not to coward down in the heat of overwhelming opposition with the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler. Bonhoeffer accurately discerned the hour and the deceptions that poisoned much of the church into delusions and apostasy. Bonhoeffer understood the gravity of his times, and with the assignment he was called to carry, he did not have the luxury of holding onto his life.  In our times, we too must be the prophetic and courageous voices cutting through the darkness to expose the hideous evils threatening our own nation. Take courage, dear friends. The future doesn't belong to the God-mockers, nor to the God-haters. The future belongs to the righteous, and the righteous are bold as lions.

Once upon a time, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave in DC was a house of honor and dignity. The residence was a regal monument for our nation’s citizens. America’s House was a shining beacon of hope, freedom and liberty. Tragically, in our more recent history, it has become a house of filth and abominations. The White House is to be for more than just a house of authority—but a house of true honor. It was only weeks ago, that the White House and its lawn was filled with an immoral parade of pride and debauchery. Now cocaine was discovered in the house. We are in deep trouble as a nation and the lawlessness is at an epic high. Where are we going in America?

The White House desperately needs to be thoroughly cleansed and its atmosphere purged and redeemed by the fire of The Lord — His great grace and mercies. It’s time to clean the house! Our Founding Fathers were future minded, and they recognized that the key to the future was more responsible fathers and less government. Fathers rise up to protect, provide and pastor future generations. Men need to be present, alert and strong to protect women and children.  It is our responsibility. The destiny of boys is to turn into men of God that use their God-given authority to shape culture for the good. God has placed upon men a special responsibility and assignment to honor, love and protect women and children. We must walk in our God-given assignment with courage, honor, and the anointing as mighty warriors and watchmen.

God is a protector. He helps the helpless and defends the defenseless. He hears the cries and answers the oppressed. He avenges injustice. This is an awesome aspect of His nature and character. And men, God's nature lives within you. The righteous are bold as lions. The Scriptures teach us that pride comes before the fall, the crash or all out destruction. Pride and arrogance is the precursor that opens wide the door to all other sins. Pride is total self-indulgence, self-worship and self-obsession. Pride leads to total narcissism. Pride says you must be the centerpiece—the sun in your own constellation. Pride is why Satan was cast out of heaven and Jesus said, He saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning. The demonically driven LGBTQ Pride movement is a movement that perverts any godly covenant it can.
