Days after the flood, and our elders and seniors in the city still need help. They need help getting out all the damaged items that are bound to get mold if they're gone unattended. When it comes to the city leaders and the decision makers, these people MUST pay attention to what people on the FRONT LINES are telling them if they want the REAL results.

The only time that this really works, is during the hokey pokey, this will NOT work when you're trying to be the leader of a community organization that is suppose to prevent violence. When the people that are "in charge" make a "phone call" after a disagreement... Maybe they don't want to bring solutions to the table because they are too busy trying to bring problems. Tory kicks the show off with an update on the state of emergency conversation that took place last night at The Infinite Church & the message from that. Then we are joined by Gloria Shaw, a mother whose son Xavier, was hit and killed almost 3 years ago to the day, at the end of this month. She pleads for help as Xavier's case has gone "cold" hoping someone would recognize the expensive truck in question.

Are men that go through abuse looked at differently? Are they looked at as less than if they don't report it? Is it snitching if they do report it? Help us out Truth Nation...

Now if you seen the pictures of these two girls, they seem like they're nice, sweet people... so why would they think it is a genius idea to pepper spray someone that was DOING THEIR JOB!

We all heard the saying sticks and stones may break bones but words could never hurt me... but it's just the opposite, sticks and stones can break bones, but words, can and will hurt you if they're used incorrectly or with the wrong intention.

What a weekend... This rain was nothing like we've ever seen causing record breaking flooding all over the city... With basements, streets, and parks flooded we hope no one got trapped or had any flooding going on... There's more rain in the forecast so hopefully things don't get worse before they get better.
