Now people on the internet can be ruthless, they can judge you for every little thing you do but if you believe it or not, they’re not going to be your toughest critic. Do you know who is? If you guessed that it, was you then you were right. You alone are going to be your toughest critic even when you don’t realize that you’re doing it. Think about all the thoughts you have during your day, now think about how many of those thoughts are ones where you’re tearing yourself down. Most the time we are making comments to ourselves about our bodies, hair, clothes, and decision we’ve made during the day but for someone who’s struggling with a mental health illness. We tend to tear ourselves apart at every turn. From the thoughts we have, to how we react to a situation or conversation, and to how much our mental health illness controls our days or life. So, today I share with you three tips to help you overcome self-doubt and judgement, to help you treat yourself with some love and compassion. Being hard on ourselves isn’t going to make things better there just going to make things worse. So, give this episode a listen and give yourself some grace because we all are meant to be kind to ourselves. Self-care is key.
