In this introductory episode, Grace and Eric dissect the tragedy of the commons and how it relates to environmental economics. Through exploring policies regarding fishing, deforestation, and international water use, they provide examples of what solutions are currently in place (and working!) and then move on to discuss three possible types of solutions: individual, internal, and external.
