The Training Stage episodes
- Episode 24 – Switching It Up!
We know, this episode is super late, but we had five people to mix into the show! That’s right, for the first time ever, we had five people on at once, including our good friend, Kory, who made his debut appearance on the show. The reason for this packed panel? Nintendo Switch…..and Red Dead Redemption 2…..but mostly Switch. Tune in for our first impressions, and much more.

In the second half of this week’s podcast, the crew discusses the latest news, including Gravity Rush 2’s delay and an update on Bethesda mod support for PS4. After the news, we play a game that pits us against each other. Pick five Nintendo franchises to launch on NX within the first year, but pick five that will have to disappear forever. Lots of salt was poured, and many friendships were damaged. Not really, but there is some salt.

This episode is so special that we had to split it into two parts. Joey talks about his experiences playing Dragon Quest VII, Tyler finished Oceanhorn, and John talks about how George Washington is the biggest asshole around in Civilization V. The first half of the episode is dedicated entirely to these games and more, while the second part covers the latest news and pits us against each other in a Nintendo themed podcast game. It’s a fun one, so gather around and enjoy!

1 hr 8 min - Episode 21 – Song of the Ocean!
On this week’s episode, Tyler and John get a bit off topic in the beginning, talking about favorite seasons and cutting grass, but also discuss some games, too. Ubisoft is actually impressing us, and Destiny 2 rumors sound promising. Also, some great PS Plus games this month.
