Jessie J. Crockett is an up-and-coming teen author focused on equality for all no matter their race, gender, or sexual orientation. Sophia is currently the HIV/PrEP Navigator at Roots Community Health Clinic in East Oakland, moderator of the NCNC UCCBay Association, and clergy lead for WOSA (Women of Spirit Action), a women's ministry group in the Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Sophia hopes to become a prison chaplain; she is also founder of Phoenix Outreach, a recovery and reentry program fostering restoration and transformative change.
