Why it is very important that we have a personal revelation of know God's word regarding His Sovereignty

Prophets were God's messengers in the old testament but their assignment in the new testament is very different. It is important that we understand that prophets are human beings and they could miss it in hearing God and as a result we must ensure we check whatever prophecies given to us align with God's word.

We continue this week looking at how much control God has over the events in our lives.

This is the first part of a teaching series on The Sovereignty of God. We would be addressing the wrong perceptions about the Sovereignty of God to help people understand what is under God's control and what is not.

Self-righteousness hinders us from experiencing God's blessings and power in our lives

God's nature is love, His love for us cannot change. Our actions cannot make him love us less.

A revelation understanding that God's love towards us is unconditional (i.e not based on anything we have, are doing or will do) will positively affect every area of our lives, especially our relationship with Him.

How do you think God sees you? - A sinner, good for nothing, un-useable, or do you even think God does not like you like he does some other people.
