The Holy Spirit came to the place where the disciples were gathered and filled them - just as Jesus said. In the power of the Holy Spirit, the disciples declared the mighty works of God to representatives of every nation under heaven in their native language. In the power of the Holy Spirit, Peter preached to the people there and 3000 were saved.

How? They pursued God's will at the expense of their own.

In Acts 1:8, Jesus taught what would happen when the Holy Spirit would come upon us. As a born-again believer, this provides my over-arching purpose in the world today.

First question: Am I a born-again believer?

Second question: Am I doing what Jesus said I would do as a born-again believer?
