Are you an executive or manager who travels for work?
In this case, you may have felt hesitant asking your hosts/colleagues for a tour of their city because you felt you were obliging them to ‘entertain’ you.
Maybe, sometimes, you’ve even felt tired after meetings abroad, and you’ve just ordered pizza to your hotel room instead of going out to experience the culture and cuisine of that place
If any of this sounds familiar, I want to introduce you to my guest speaker this week!
JimiBeth Myers is an executive coach from New York who helps leaders in the corporate world to love their jobs.
In her 20 years of experience, she’s noticed how managers are not making the most of their business trips (especially females) and how changing this behaviour can open them up to new opportunities, and strengthen their connection to their colleagues and others around them
In her words: “Making the most of travel starts with preparing your mindset at home"
Gosha and Chris have been sailing and living on boats for the last 18 years.
Their boats Justine IV and Animo have been their homes and adventures for the good and bad.
Since they have met in Denmark they sailed on Justine IV to the north baltic sea, isles of scilly, north Brittany, channel island at least twice and completed very many north sea crossing from London to Holland and Belgium; one of them being a trip of their lifetime on their Dutch barge Animo.
If you are looking for an adventure and life experience journey around boats and water, this episode is for you!
