05/05/25: Joel Heitkamp is joined on "News and Views" by the NDDOT Driver's License Division Director, Brad Schaffer. Brad joined NDDOT in 2005 and worked in many capacities including Information Technology Manager, Customer Support Manager, Senior Programmer, Drivers License Business Analyst and as a Computer Programmer. 

As of May 7th, certain standard driver’s licenses and other identification cards will no longer meet federal standards for people seeking to fly within the United States due to the deadline for the Real ID. Brad joins Joel to talk about what you need to know for the deadline and how to get a Real ID.
