17 years ago, I was 12 years old watching Stereos on MuchMusic. Today, I sat down with their lead singer.
Pat Kordyback, lead singer of Stereos and now part of Delta Sweet, joins the pod.
I first heard Stereos when “Summer Girl” dropped and instantly became a fan. Their blend of pop, rock and hip-hop was something different, especially coming from a Canadian group. “Summer Girl” peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, while Stereos earned two JUNO nominations in 2010.
From “Summer Girl” to “Throw Ya Hands Up,” “Turn It Up” and “Butterflies,” Stereos left their mark on Canadian music. Now, Pat is entering a new chapter with Delta Sweet and continuing to evolve as an artist.
