The Tristate Space Program

The second and final portion of my conversation with keyboardist Nathan Jochum of Evansville band Trash Loaf. You can follow them and see when and where they're playing next here:

Local musician Nathan Jochum, formerly of The Waywards, stopped by to talk about his new band, Trashloaf. This is part 1 of 2, and a so far unnamed two-piece band that rents at the jam room can be heard in the background of this first episode.

My bandmate in The Jangle Sheep sat and talked with me about the Syrian refugee crisis. This gets pretty political, more music-centered episodes begin in early December.

On a ride to Evansville, Jesse and I discuss some political issues and local media.

Nate and I converse about the videos we are making on the ride home from a shoot. We talk about the videos themselves, getting interrupted while trying to shoot scenes and local media production.

Tell City duo Charms Voormann and I discuss their new album, future recordings and the sonic nuances of their music before the conversation turns to television and some political/philosphical issues.

Their music can be found here: https://charmsvoormann.bandcamp.com/

Independent mayoral candidate Steve Wozniak took some time to explain his plans for Evansville which consist of utilizing long existing landmarks and employing long overdue tactics to revitalize the pocket city.

My Jangle Sheep bandmates hung out after practice to talk developments in our band and local music type stuff. I tell a story about a creep at a bar. You can follow us @texastjangle or listen to our music: texastandthejanglesheep.bandcamp.com

Jake Tapley and Nigel Meyer of local band Wax Astro stopped by to speak on their new album, their transformation from Go Nuclear and their new sound.

You can follow them at https://www.facebook.com/WaxAstro/ or @waxastroband

Their new album can be found here starting tomorrow night:

The Evansville-based band Reed Four stopped by to talk music (including their multiple upcoming releases), live show details, and also some paranormal and space stuff. The best place to learn more about them (and listen to their music) is reedfour.com.
