In this week's Talking Points podcast Agnes, Willie, and Fraser discuss Sunday's sermons and reflect on some of the key takeaways from them.
From Ezekiel we heard a somber word of warning against complacency in the church in the West today, a warning we must heed and take seriously. However, whilst the warning is real we can take confidence from God's sovereignty and know that even if the church in the West will face judgment, God is still building his church the world over. Even if it seems as though, like Elijah felt in 1 Kings 19, there are next to no believers left, we can still be confident that God has not failed. In this we can find freedom to strive to be faithful in whatever God has given us to do, wherever he has placed us.
This conversation is a reflection on the sermons from Sunday so if you haven't yet heard them, why not listen to them first? You can find them here on our podcast feed, on our YouTube channel, or on our website.
