We’re back in the home studio after an awesome weekend at Strike Force—Retriever Roadmap’s annual dog training event and one of our favorite traditions of the year. Two full days of working with Willow, reconnecting with the community, and soaking in everything we love about the dog world.

This year was extra special—Jeremy had the chance to document the entire weekend, capturing not just the action, but the heart behind it. In this episode, we talk about what makes this event so meaningful to us, the friendships we’ve built through it, and why it always fuels our passion heading into fall.

We also chat about the growing excitement for duck season, and the string of upcoming trade shows starting with the Delta Waterfowl Expo in OKC—Jeremy’s first big show of the year.

Brittany shares some huge news in her own journey—officially moving her lash business to a new location in Crandon, inside the beautiful Elevate Med Spa. New space, new energy, and a reignited excitement for what’s ahead.

We wrap up with our excitement for musky opener, finally getting a chance to hit the water and chase what we love.

Brittany opens up about her personal battle with bullying throughout school and the emotional scars it left behind. She shares her struggles in trusting other women—until the right ones came into her life and completely changed her perspective. Now, in her early 30s, she’s built strong, meaningful friendships with incredible women like Jamie, Whitney, Dori, and Sarah, and she attributes much of this growth to her love for the outdoors and the people it has brought into her life.

She also touches on a traumatic childhood brain injury that played a role in the bullying she endured, but also how it shaped her deep connection to nature—where she finds true peace. This leads us into a larger conversation on personal growth, self-awareness, and accountability—acknowledging bad habits, negative attitudes, and emotional hurdles while working to become better as spouses, parents, friends, and business owners.

We reflect on the importance of setting our children up for success, leading by example, and teaching them resilience, hard work, and a positive mindset.
