Derek  is the Executive Vice President for the social enterprise, Mealshare.  If you haven’t heard of Mealshare it is a program that offers a buy-one, give-one holistic giving program for the hospitality industry and Derek and his team are on a mission to end youth hunger in our lifetime. In 2018, Mealshare won the Social Innovation Award at the Canadian Innovation Awards organized by Techvibes.

Derek is an international speaker and an elite level triathlete/Ironman and represented Canada at the 2017 Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
