Ryan's Bio
Ryan Syverson, FDN-P, ACPT
Health Consultant and Owner at SubLyme Life
Ryan Syverson has spent the last 5 years of his life using his personal and professional experiences to help his clients overcome complex chronic illnesses like Lyme Disease and Fibromyalgia when it seemed like all else had failed them.
As someone who battled Lyme Disease and Mold illness for 7-years, Ryan knows first-hand the challenges and frustration one experiences in the conventional medical model. Fed up with being told this was in his head and he could only manage his symptoms, Ryan embarked on a quest to find answers which eventually led to him overcoming Lyme and discovering his unique gift and passion to help others restore their health through functional medicine, personal empowerment and transformational coaching.
He knows there’s no single approach that works for everyone, so he continues to educate himself on the latest research and modalities in the fields of Functional Medicine, Neurology, Psychology and Personal Transformation so he can provide the most comprehensive program that works for each of his client’s individual needs.
He received his training and certification through Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN©), and he holds a certification as an Advanced Certified Personal Trainer through TW-CC©. He is currently pursuing a certification through The Wellness Code Academy to further his understanding of healing through a mind-body approach.
Ryan is the owner and head coach at SubLyme Life, where he works with clients in group and 1-on-1 settings. When he’s not geeking out on health, you’ll find him out with his wife enjoying some great food and adventures, in the gym or on the golf course losing money to his buddies.

We all know that one person who is always super negative and is almost always having a bad day. In this episode of the podcast, I discuss how certain people communicate solely through complaining. This is their way of relating to others or trying to validate their frustrations. When we allow ourselves to fall into the trench of complaining and blaming externalities on our life situation we generally find ourselves stuck in the same emotional mess of a rut, year after year. to become better humans we must move past this behavior to ever really see the truth in life. Much love and enjoy the episode!

How do we learn to hate ourselves and what influences us to judge ourselves so harshly? If we dive deep enough into our past, the chance is there was some sort of catalyst in the form of demeaning words. When we are young, our world is small and we spend most of our mental and emotional energy trying to find our place in it as well as where we fit. Due to this, we are incredibly susceptible to suggestion.
In this episode, I take a deep dive into this state of existence. I break down how we learn the behavior of self-hate, the avenues that bring us to this state as well as triggers, and how to unlearn what has been carved into our neurology. Much love and enjoy!
