As a longtime volunteer with the Miss America Scholarship Pageant, I’m excited to welcome Mrs. Nevada 2017, Eve Dawes to the show to discuss the power of participation and competition in public talent exhibitions or expositions.

 

Eve is the creator of Dawes Custom Cosmetics and Fitness by Eve. She trains women not only on their appearance and glamor, but also on confidence, speaking, presenting, posture, posing and walking with style and grace. After I appeared on her show, Glamour and Gains, Eve stopped by to discuss how pageants are a powerful example of a force multiplier for the entrepreneur.

 

You don’t have to necessarily compete – I am no contestant for a Miss America pageant! But even involvement and support in contests like this give you exposure, which leads to conversations, which leads to prospects and ultimately, to sales.
