Compassion is triggered when we encounter suffering. Also...it exists on a scale that ranges from sharing and witnessing that suffering first in our bodies, souls and minds, but then, for some it turns into taking action on an individual level or en masse. For some it becomes a burden, an obligation, a mission they take on. And for even fewer, it becomes something to solve permanently.
