The truth is.. episodes

  • Showing grace to self & others.
Absolutely, practicing self-love and extending grace to others fosters empathy, understanding, and a harmonious environment. When you acknowledge your own worth and challenges with compassion, it becomes natural to treat others with the same kindness, promoting mutual respect and dignity in all interactions.

  • A cheerful heart is good medicine.
“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭17‬:‭22‬ ‭NIV. Do not allow anyone or anything to steal your joy. Be the person you always wanted to be, a person of peace, a person of joy, a person who is aware of their capabilities and understand who they are, and is willing to share the positivity with others. Do not let negativity define you or make you a bitter person because of a bad situation that occurred at some point in your life. I want to encourage you to find the strength to remove yourself from bad situations that destroy or crush your spirit. So on this episode of the truth is, as you pick up your Bible, and read the book of proverbs, chapter 17, verse 22, apply it to your life and the lives of others around you. Love who you are and translate that love to others. Thank you.

  • Limitations
Stop putting limits on what ppl can or cannot do. The tongue is powerful and your words can cast doubt on someone’s life goals, ambitions and dreams. Don’t be that person who sees the worst in people and not encourage change and motivate them to improve on whatever needs improvement. Stop imposing and projecting your limitations on others, because you can’t do it, does not mean others can’t, because you won’t do it, does not mean others shouldn’t. Know what you put out of your mouth to the next person and weigh your words. Everyone has a capability to do most things, the mentality, mindset and attitude goes a long way.
Don’t’ get me wrong when it comes to age appropriate situations, please speak up and guide with love not condemnation.
“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18‬:‭21‬ ‭NIV‬‬
“The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
“The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

  • Speak up!
On this episode I just want to encourage you to speak up. Whenever you feel uncomfortable about how people are dealing with you and treating you, speak up. Stop internalizing pain and damaging your relationships and mental wellness. Speak up. There is always someone you can address any situation with and have them assist you with dealing with whatever the situation is. Don’t burden or overburden yourself with pain that you can let go of; with actions that you can deal with and stop. Bullying comes in different forms, belittling someone is bullying, don’t let anyone make you feel less or bad. Speak up.

  • Identifying your calling..
Identify what your calling is and work on it. Pay it forward by using it. There is a reason you are blessed with gifts, it’s to use them and not store them away. Once you have a passion for something that will benefit you and others, work on it. A calling is a divine gift and once you identify it, nothing and no one can take it from you, so use it and keep building your ministry. Remain blessed.

  • You are never alone. God is always with us.
On this episode of the truth is, we delved into the Bible and explored the book of Daniel , chapter 3, verse 12 to 30. I looked at the power of God in the lives of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. I want to encourage you today to be strong in your faith and stay strong in the midst of adversity, because God is always there for us no matter the situation. God is always there. Trust me on that and trust God always. Trust God and call on God as needed. Be transparent because God knows and sees all.
