He criticised the UN for using empty words, saying “empty words, don't win wars”. In a wide-ranging speech he called for Europe to stop buying energy from Russia and called on every country in the world to stop the development of biological weapons. He also spoke about efforts to end the war in Gaza, saying negotiations must be held.
