When Crux and I initially spoke, it was about us working together as author and coach to develop his manuscript and for me to go on to publish it.

This never happened, but the conversations we had were fun and flirty, and covered a range of topics such as systemic abuse, deep seated racism within the US Police forces and his role as a hostage negotiator.

Amongst his many skills and attributes, Crux is an international speaker, behavioural profiler, motivational team builder, developer of team dynamics and a social engineer. When he is not being all these, he is studying for his PhD.

Until we don't.

Working with Jake as his author coach and developmental editor was an insightful look into the life of a US Marine.

How discipline and being told what to do and how to do it was all he had ever really known, that was until he become a veteran of the US Armed Forces.
