We begin with the sin that so easily entangles and end with the gospel. please support The Truth Be Known podcast and click on the link above.

What's wrong with this episode of the The Truth Talks Podcast?

1. The recorder we were using starting have some issues mid record
2. Every person on this episode is in different time zones. 3 different time zones - Scheduling was tough.
3. One of the guests internet was acting up slightly, so some of the words are kinda cut out.
4. I had construction going on at my home during the time of the recording so you can hear a saw in the background.

All in all, we made it work the best we could. Great podcast with Ekkie and Nathaniel.

This week I'm privileged to have a conversation with Dawain Atkinson - The executive producer for the B.A.R. Podcast Network, the Just Thinking Podcast, and the B.A.R podcast.

Dawain shares his story of finding a good biblical church, coming from the charismatic movement, and understanding sound theology.

Here are the links to the podcasts on the network. Enjoy, like and subscribe to them all if you'd like.... and to this one of course...

This is probably going to be the first of many podcasts on John 17 - Jesus' high priestly prayer. Rich in theology and an example of who Christ is, this prayer goes far beyond the prayers of anyone else in scripture for the its richness and depth. It's not a just a prayer of of LORD, but it also helps us to understand the suffering we will endure as a true believer. Love this episode. It's short and mighty.

Send us a message on how you like the podcast and how it impacts your life. I'd love to hear how your prayer life has changed through the podcasts and even through Pastor Matt's sermons.

Hey folks! for the 3 of you that read the show notes I want to say thanks for listening. I have been so busy the past few weeks that I forgot to upload this podcast. Sorry for the delay.

Everyday I am confronted by the reality of all of the false teaching I received over the years and Hebrews 1:1-3 has been a scripture I have been able to find peace in. I wanted to understand it more so this episode I ask Matt about some of the the things I have observed.

Define prayer?

We start with John Bunyan's amazing definition of prayer and end with Matt's definition that has been a staple in his preaching for the last few months.

Also, whoever is bringing the food for us each week we want you to know we really appreciate you. It hits the spot every time. The roast beef wraps were amazing!

So, we start off with a question from our listeners asking about how to teach our children to pray.

Then we jump to Prophets, Priests, and Kings...

Then it's onto anxiety.

I love the clarity of God's word.

Jam Packed episode with a bit of flare on it at the end.

I mean, of course we will continue talking about prayer, but faith came in there at the end out of nowhere. Sorry that happened. I am beginning to believe that pray is inexhaustible. So many ways to go with it to worship, supplication, and thanksgiving. We an add in there grace.. and that dreaded 1 Peter scripture I tried to skip in this podcast.
