A powerful new short documentary, The Truth Will Set You Free, is set to debut inMay 2025, offering a deeply intimate look at friendship, addiction, and redemption. Filmed over four years in Appleton, WI the film follows two longtime friends—Marty “Meatman” Sosnowski and Shane Krueger—as they navigate thestruggles of addiction, loss, and ultimately, reconnection.Directed by Appleton filmmaker David Jackson, The Truth Will Set You Free is co-produced by Jackson & Co.’s David Jackson and Adam Koepke, with Koepke also serving as the film’s Director of Photography. The project is executive produced by Marty “Meatman” Sosnowski, a former Midwest rock and roll photographer turned storyteller.Dave, Marty and Adam all appeared on Code Zero Radio's Fox Cities Core to talk about how the idea for the film came about, how it changed over time, and ultimately the direction they ended up taking it. The film is an emotional rollercoaster which was lovingly made in honor of Shane Krueger.
