What stone has God placed in your hands?
Nehemiah 3 may look like nothing more than a long list of names, gates, and construction assignments—but hidden in this chapter is a powerful picture of how God accomplishes His work.
Jerusalem's wall was not rebuilt by Nehemiah alone. Priests, craftsmen, families, rulers, merchants, and ordinary people worked side-by-side, each taking responsibility for the section God had placed before them.
In this message from Nehemiah 3:1–32, we discover that God's work requires God's people to participate. There are no insignificant assignments in God's kingdom, and God never intended His work to be carried by only a handful of people.
The question isn't whether you can do everything.
The question is: Are you faithfully doing what God has given you to do?
It's time to stop being spectators and become servants.
Find your place.
Pick up your stone.
And faithfully build for the glory of God.
